John 14:5–7 (NKJV)
5Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
7“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
One way. There are not many ways. Just One Way. Jesus is the “Way, Truth, and Life.” The only way to a true and real relationship to God the Father.
What do we receive when we accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord?
- Restored Relationship with God.
- Eternal Life.
- Forgiveness of Sins.
- Personal Relationship with Jesus.
- The Holy Spirit.
- Spiritual Gifts.
- Fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control”
- Hope and Peace.
Each of these in themselves is enticing enough to accept Christ as Savior of our lives. We must realize that each day God has us here on earth He has a purpose for us. Salvation is more than going to Heaven. It is living for God each day. Giving ourselves to Him to be used by Him in any way He chooses.
There will be trials each believer will go through. As we do, we will discover God to be true to His Word. As Moses said to the Israelites, in Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Follow Jesus…Live for Jesus. Give your life to Jesus 100%. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
