Daily Devotion (April 20, 2025)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
How can we ask others to trust God if we do not follow and trust Him ourselves. We are to live our lives giving complete reliance on God’s wisdom, power and goodness. We are to place our faith in Him even when circumstances seem uncertain or challenging.
We must not rely solely on human reasoning or personal judgment. We must in all humility depend on God’s superior understanding.
In everything acknowledge God. As a Christian, a follower of God we are to seek His will in “every decision and action” we are involved in. We are to honor God and glorify Him.
We are to allow God to direct our path. We are to totally depend on God’s guidance and protection. We are to trust and acknowledge God as He leads us not only to but down the path He has laid for us.
Today we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. It is because He lives that we can live and have assurance of His love in our lives.
