Philippians 4:19 (NKJV): And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 is a verse that offers reassurance. It emphasizes God’s boundless provision and care for His people. Paul wrote this while imprisoned, which makes his confidence in God’s provision even more striking. The verse assures us as believers that God will meet our needs—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual through His unlimited resources and grace. It highlights the importance of trusting in God’s promises, even in times of hardship or uncertainty. The phrase “according to his riches in glory” suggests that God’s provision is not limited to material wealth but encompasses all aspects of grace, love, and strength needed for life. It also underscores the centrality of Christ Jesus in this relationship, reminding believers that their connection to Him is the foundation of their trust and reliance on God’s provision. Psalm 121 is another passage from the Bible that emphasizes trust in God’s provision. 1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.5 The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. As the Israelites went to the temple to worship they trusted God would protect them. God was watching over them and protected them from harm. We are to trust God. We know God will protect us and provide for us. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”Proverbs 3:5-6. We should share our faith with others. People should see God working in our lives. As important as going to church is OUR DAILY lives should be surrounded in the love and trust in God. He should be number one in our lives. God will provide.
