Luke 9:25–26 (NKJV) — 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.
Life does not end at physical death. Once conceived in the womb, life is eternal. Choices made in this life have eternal consequences. We can either choose to live for this world or choose Christ.
Choices made in this world have eternal consequences. Choose this world and lose eternity with Christ in Heaven. Choose this world and live eternally in Hell with Satan and all his minions.
What does a person have if the whole world is gained? There is still physical death. All that is gained in this world is lost. It is the dog chasing his tail. What does he have once the tail is caught? The one who seeks to please self is doomed.
Many have made a false profession, a delusional gospel perpetrated by the preachers of Satan. The syrupy words pouring from the mouths of Satan’s minions are leading many to make a false superficial profession in Christ. Jesus says in Matthew 8:11–12, “And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom (those making false professions) will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
I plead with those who have bought into the lies of Satan, the woke generation, to forsake, turn away from the lies and false teachings of this world and accept the truth of God’s Word.
There is a cost to following Jesus, to being a true disciple of Christ.
Matthew 16:24–27 (NKJV) — 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
Is it worth the cost to follow Christ, to be His disciple? For me it is!
