Proverbs 16:1–3
1 The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue
is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the
spirits.
3 Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.
We make plans. Do we commit our plans to God? I said to a friend, “this is
what I am going to do.” My wise friend asked if this was what God wanted
me to do. My response was, I don’t care. What I planned did not happen.
A person’s righteousness is determined by how he stands in the sight of
God. We need to see ourselves through the eyes of God.
Commit yourself, your work, and your life to God.
