Psalm 40:8, “I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my
heart.”
Where do we find the greatest example of doing God’s will. David genuinely
expressed his heartfelt desire to fulfill God’s will for his life.
The law of God laid within his heart. David willingly obeyed God from his
heart.
What God calls us to do is not easy. How do we know we are doing the will
of God? It is not the external factors that prove God’s will. It is what lies
within our heart.
John 7:17, “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the
doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.”
God calls us not to do our will, but His.
