Jeremiah 1:5–7 (NKJV)
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
7 But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.

The call of God! Always be thankful of God’s calling in your life.

We tend to ignore the youth. They still have a lot of learning to do. Yet, God does not ignore them. Youth are important.

God tells Jeremiah He had a plan for his life even before he was formed in his mother’s womb.

God has a plan for all our lives. As Jeremiah felt inadequate to do God’s will so do we. God’s call is not small and insignificant.

Don’t make excuses to God! Follow God. Allow His Holy Spirit to work in and through your life. What God calls us to do is not easy. God calls us to do those things that only He can do through us.

God called Jeremiah. What was God’s instructions to him. “Go where I send you, speak what I command you, and don’t be afraid of the people.”

In Jeremiah 1:8 God gave a condition attached to His call. God told Jeremiah “Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you.”

Followers of God will face difficult situations. Focus on God…not the problem. As Christians, followers of God, we are His instrument of righteousness. We are called to do God’s will. We are to be God’s voice to the world.
