Exodus 20:13 (NKJV) — 13 “You shall not murder.”
Life is a gift from God and the only one who has the authority to take a life is
God.
Defending oneself and accidental death is not considered murder. God
forbids premeditated murder and deliberate murder.
Jesus also spoke about murder in the heart of man.
Matthew 5:21–22 (NKJV) — 21 “You have heard that it was said to those of
old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the
judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother
without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his
brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You
fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Could it be the issue attitude of our heart is not just a meaningless thought?
Is it possible to kill a person with the attitude of our heart? Those who are
hated by others are loved by God.
When we hurt another person we are hurting God.
