Proverbs 12:19 “The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.”
John 8:31–32 “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
How free are you in following Satan? Any perceived freedom is only an allusion. Jesus said in John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus has His disciples. Unfortunately, Satan has his followers to. Satan does not build up, he tears down. In any church Satan has his followers who hide in. Satan’s love is hatred toward God.
Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Satan deceives! Be careful.
2 Corinthians 11:3–4 ‘But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”
Satan the great deceiver can be found anywhere we go. Satan can be one of the greatest friends we have. But remember he hates you and wants to destroy you. Jesus says in John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” Jesus died for you, not Satan.
