Romans 8:1
1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
A person’s faith in Christ places him in Christ. A person is placed in all that Christ is.
Jesus lives in the person who has accepted Him as not only Savior but Lord. Christ is our representative, agent, and Substitute. All the sins of our life is laid upon Him.
When we accept Christ into our lives we are placed and positioned in Christ.
False profession in Jesus leads a person to walk according to the ways of the world. The power of Christ is not in this person. The false profession leads a person to walk according to the ways of the world. If we follow the ways of the world we are walking in the darkness of Satan. Paul writes in Romans 8:9 “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. The person who walks outside of Christ can only walk in alignment with Satan. Satan will and does disguise himself as an angel of light. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”
I worked in a ministry where the bookkeeper worked hard for Satan. She tried every way to get rid of me. Satan is the god of those who do not choose Christ as Savior and LORD. Each of us has a choice. We can walk in spiritual darkness and follow Satan all the way to the pits of Hell, or we can walk in the Light of Jesus Christ and fulfill God’s purpose for our lives and bring others to Christ.
The followers of Satan bring destruction, Christ restores life. 2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” Follow Satan and walk in darkness; follow Christ and walk in Light. What Satan destroys Christ restores. If Christ could die on the cross, be buried, and then come to life in three days, John 2:19 “Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Satan works hard to destroy God’s work. Just imagine what Christ can do in the life of a person dedicated to Him today.
It is all about Jesus because:
HE IS THE CREATOR
HE IS GOD
We were created for Him.
He supports and sustains us.
He is the head of the church.
The fullness of God dwells in Him.
He reconciles all things to Himself by His sacrifice.
God blesses us through Christ and placed within all believers with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 1:3)
Have you declared Jesus as the Lord of your life? Does Jesus rule in your life today. Do you truly know who Jesus is? Can you say as Peter said in Matthew 16:15–16 “He (Christ) said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
