Isaiah 41:8–10 (NKJV)
8 “But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend.
9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:
10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Are you the servant of God.? Have you chosen to be chosen by God?
We live in challenging times. Perilous times.
God is hated by this world. God’s people are hated by this world. But, even in all the darkness that surrounds the follower of God, the Light of Christ shines. God is continually building His Kingdom.
Christianity is coming under persecution; the Christian is coming under persecution. Fewer and fewer people are looking to God. Only God has the power to protect and provide for His people. God walks with His people.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Even Christians fall short. The great news is the assurance to all true believers is that when we do fall short of God’s glory, He is still there with us and for us. The nation Israel failed so many times. God was still there. Even when the nation forsook God He was still there.
Israel suffered because of their sin. They were taken captive because they chose sin over God. BUT God never gave up on them. The true believers followed God. God would deliver them from their captivity. He would protect them and provide for them.
Whatever it is that is keeping you from totally dedicating your life to God, whatever is keeping you captive. God can deliver you. Do not get discouraged. Know that as a true believer in Christ, God is with you. The world hates God. The true church loves God! The world lives in sin. God’s people live in the righteousness of Christ.
