Psalm 122:1 (NKJV) — “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the LORD.’”
Be excited about going to the House of God today.
Be excited about worshiping God today!
The Psalmist says, “Let US go into the House of the LORD.”
As you prepare for worship…prepare for worship. Set your heart toward God. Picture yourself seated with Christ. Colossians 3:1, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.”
Make worship a celebration of Christ in your life today. Worship is a form of celebration. It is a response to God for what He has done in our lives. I love the time of testimony of what God has done in peoples lives during the week.
I do not know whose quote this is but I like it. “Corporate worship is the proper response of a gathered church to the person of the triune God and to his past, present, and future works, especially as they pertain to reigning in our lives and His redemption.”
No matter the style of worship, Christ must be at the center, the focus. For those who are bored in worship, check your attitude. If you are bored your focus is in the wrong place and upon the wrong person.
