Matthew 19:26 (NKJV) — 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them,
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Trust God! With God all things are possible. The thing is we must be looking
to do God’s will, not our own. We do not work to build God’s kingdom
according to our standards but God’s.
I love what Paul wrote in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ
who strengthens me.” It is not our desire to do anything outside of God’s
calling. But what amazing things we can do when we allow God to do His
work in us!
Galatians 2:20–21 (NKJV) — 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no
longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for
me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes
through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
Galatians 3:1 (NKJV) — 1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that
you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly
portrayed among you as crucified?
God does His humanly impossible work through us. We must be willing to
allow HIM to do HIS work in us. We do not dictate to God what He does. He
uses us according to His will and purpose.
The greatest most important work we can do is through God’s Holy Spirit
working in us. It is not about us, it is all about God!
