Philippians 1:3–5 (NKJV) — 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of
you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5
for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.
Paul knew he did not stand alone in sharing the Gospel of Jesus. We do not
stand alone in doing the work of God. Remember to be thankful. Pray for
those who stand along side you in sharing the Gospel of Christ.
Christians belong to a great family, a family of believers who make up the
family of God. Not all believers have the same gift. We possess the gift of
the Spirit of God to not only share God to the world but to build up the
family of God.
One of the things my mother taught me was to love the family. Family is
important. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 13:2, “And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I
have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am
nothing.” We not only have an attitude of love, we demonstrate love.
Whatever gift God has blessed you with the greatest will always be love. 1
Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the
greatest of these is love.”
Allow the love of God to flow through your life and touch the lives of others.
