John 10:10 (NKJV) — 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to
kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may
have it more abundantly.

Eternal life. Every person conceived in the mother’s womb has eternal life.
Once conceived, from conception to birth to life on earth and eventually to
physical death each one has eternal life. Death of the body does not end life.
The spirit of a person continues to live.
Why is this important? It is important to know that after physical death a
person is either going to spend eternity in Heaven with God or eternity in
Hell with Satan. People need Jesus in their lives.
But, what about our time on earth? God has a purpose for us. The purpose is
filled with the wonder of God. Satan wants to steal that from us. God gives
life, Satan steals life.
Satan tries to lead us through another door. He misleads and deceives. He
prepares doors of deception and promises of emptiness. Jesus proved His
promise by dying, giving His life for us.
The promise of Christ is life…it is life more abundantly. It is a life filled with
the presence of God. His Holy Spirit lives in the life of each person who has
accepted Christ into his life. In Matthew 7:13–14 Jesus says we must “Enter
by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to
destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the
gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find
it.”

We must know life here on earth leads us to the gate of eternal life. We must
make a choice. Which gate are we going to enter. The promises of the “wide
gate” with great promises that leads to death and destruction or the “narrow
gate” that leads to eternal life with God.
