Titus 2:11–14 (NKJV)
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

God created Adam and Eve to live in Heaven with Him for eternity. Their focus was taken off God and placed upon worldly lust. Sin! All hope was gone. Deceived by Satan, a fallen angel. Greed, wanting more and receiving far less. Thinking they knew better than the Creator and discovering, far too late, they knew nothing outside of God.

God did not give up on Adam and Eve. Even though they lost their place in the Garden God had a plan to bring them back to Himself. It was a costly plan. Even though Adam and Eve suffered outside of Paradise God had already worked out a plan to restore the relationship between them and Himself. It was through God’s grace, His love and His mercy God has redeemed us. The cost of redemption was paid by Jesus on the cross. For God so loved the world….

Christ gave His life so we could break free of the bondage of sin. God’s grace brings salvation to all who will accept Him. We have offered to us God’s favor and blessing. God’s grace is Jesus Christ. The greatest blessing, gift, act of love ever given.

God’s grace brings salvation to whoever will accept God. Acceptance is more than just words. It is total commitment to God. God’s grace is bestowed upon those who are willing to enter in God’s kingdom through the “Narrow Gate.”

God’s grace offers freedom from sin. It offers hope in knowing one day Jesus will return and appear in all His glory and majesty. The blessed hope of Jesus means the time will come when we will be filled with happiness, prosperity and the benefits of God’s children. God does not promise us we will receive all these on earth, but one day He is coming to take us to be with Him in Heaven. The return of Christ will bring about a magnificent, celebrated union between us and God. Have you accepted God’s grace?
