Proverbs 3:5–6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
We do not know or understand the ways of the Lord. Trust God! In all things trust God. But, be sure you are following God and His plan for your life.
These verses describe a life of total dependence and commitment to God. Both dependence and commitment are important. We commit ourselves to God. Because we commit ourselves to God, we become totally dependent upon Him. Just as a newborn baby is dependent upon her parents for life, we are dependent upon God for life. (Mind, Soul, and Spirit)
Our commitment to God is a lifetime commitment. It is a commitment not just trusting God for our eternal salvation but for every aspect of our lives.
Make the commitment today to trust in the Lord for everything.
Trust in the Lord with total commitment with everything you have, your mind, your will, your soul, your spirit.
Satan will not like this. But God longs for us to be totally committed to Him and completely dependent upon Him and to have utter confidence in Him.
We are to trust God. “Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart!”
Finally, Hebrews 10:25 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
It is cold outside, but the church is warm. And fellowship with other believers will warm the spirit and soul.
Pause and give God the praise for another day.
