Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
When I woke up this morning, sat down to study the Bible and write my Morning Devotion, I ran into a problem. I had no connection to the internet. My modem was offline.
Many have accepted Christ into their lives but they are powerless to do what God has called them to do. They are off-line. There needs to be a connection. The Holy Spirit is present in their lives but they are off line.
How many times have we allowed the things of this world to keep us from communication with God?
We have no power because we have allowed the world to influence our lives over allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives.
Very simple statement. We as Christians need to allow the power of the Holy Spirit to be seen working in us throughout each day.
