Genesis 1:1 (NKJV) — 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Revelation 22:12–14, 12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
There is a beginning and an end to all things. What we do with that which is in the middle is what is important. Jesus said, in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 14:6 (NKJV) — 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
The end of physical life is not the end of life. The choice of accepting or rejecting Jesus in this life has everything to do with our eternal home.
