Philippians 3:12 (NKJV) — 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
Still being here on earth we realize we have not accomplished what God has called us to finish.
So, press on! Forget the past. That is do not let the past imprison you.
We are to press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)
When we die, we will leave behind everything lived for and accomplished. We do not take it with us. We leave a legacy. What will others remember about us? I want people to remember my love for Christ. How my relationship with Christ motivated me to be all He called me to do.
Life on earth is temporal. Eternity is forever!
