Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV) — 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
2 Timothy 2:15–16 (NKJV) — 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 (NKJV) — 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Trust God! Do the work God has called you to do. Remember Satan is at work blinding those who refuse to know God.
Throughout history, God’s creation has faced the onslaught of satanic hatred. The power believers have had has been God’s Spirit living in them. We learn to trust God by trusting God.
Psalm 37:3–5 — 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
When the evil comes, Trust God! Remember God’s past faithfulness. We were never promised we would not go through the fire or not be thrown into the lion’s den. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego stood up to the threats of the king stating, in Daniel 3:17–18, “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 BUT IF NOT, LET IT BE KNOWN TO YOU, O KING, THAT WE DO NOT SERVE YOUR GODS, NOR WILL WE WORSHIP THE GOLD IMAGE WHICH YOU HAVE SET UP.”
Love those who do not know Jesus. Pray for them! Their lives are Hell here on Earth. Their eyes have been blinded to the truth of God.
Trust God. Live God. Present yourself to God. Never be ashamed of being a believing believer in Jesus Christ.
