Daily Devotion (March 21, 2025)

Isaiah 43:1
“But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’”

Whatever God has called you to do God will see you through. God knows us individually and has claimed us as His own. How assuring it is to know that not only does God know us, but He also walks with us. We are called to His purpose and have the reassurance of His love. God tells us in Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.”

Isaiah 54:17 tells us when challenges come, we must remind ourselves of God’s protection and assurance that God stands with us. We can stand firm in God’s truth. We can stand firm in the righteousness of God.

In John 14:27, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.”

My heart does break for those who have made a false profession in accepting Jesus as Savior. How many live a shallow life having with their mouths professed Jesus as Savior but have not truly believed in their hearts.

Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” When we listen with our hearts, we invite a deeper level of wisdom and connection that shapes how we respond and act.

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
