Daily Devotion (March 28, 2025)

2 Corinthians 11:14, which says, “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”

1 Peter 5:8, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

I am having major difficulties with my computer. I have, by accident, opened an antivirus program on my laptop. (I knew not to open it.) It promised me all the protection I needed to operate my computer virus free. The only problem with this is the program IS the major problem I have. It will not go away.

In the movie “Batman” the Joker goes down the street throwing out money asking “Who do you trust now.” Satan in the same way throws out promises asking “who do you trust?” Deception is all around us.

Know Christ, the Lord of our lives, never deceives us. He does not offer empty promises. We are to “Trust in the Lord with all our heart.” Do not be deceived by the false empty promises of Satan. Revelation 12:9-10, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Satan the great deceiver leads to everlasting life separated from God. Satan not only brings amazingly empty promises but eternal life in Hell.

This devotion is being brought to you through an ambidextrous mind this morning. Multitasking is something I have learned to do over the decades. Someone has said, “God is good all the time and all the time God is Good.”
