Ephesians 6:14 (NKJV) — 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
STAND!
What does the Bible say about standing? Following are just a few verses out of many about standing.
1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 16:13, “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”
Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
2 Thessalonians 2:15, “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.”
Exodus 14:13–14, “And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
The days are quickly ending for the great American dream. Is the church no longer willing to stand upon the principles of Scripture? The nation is crumbling because the foundation is no longer Jesus Christ, the Word of God.
Matthew 7:24–29 (NKJV) — 24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, AND DOES THEM, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” 28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
We stand and stand firm upon the foundation of Jesus Christ.
