Matthew 25:34–36 (NKJV) —
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
When we minister to others we are ministering to Christ.
Being a Christian means more than just going to Heaven.
Being a Christian means more than just attending a worship service.
Both of these are important.
Being a Christian means being involved in life. Christians are to reach out and touch the lives of others.
Christians are to help others spiritually but also help others with physical needs.
Jesus reached out and touched the lives of others. Christians are not to be enablers but to be used by God to empower others to be what God created them to be.
God has called Christians to be His hands, eyes, and feet to help others be empowered to live life to its fullest. Living life to the fullest is knowing God and His purpose for our lives.
Christians are to reach outside of themselves and help others know the love of Christ.
