Proverbs 31:28 “Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her.”
Mother’s!
I thank God every day for my mother. Nina Bell King Hartman. She came into this world on March 20, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2006. I thank God every day for her and for the gift of life. I mostly thank God for the greatest gift she gave me, the knowledge of Jesus Christ. My mother worked full-time as a bookkeeper. During my early years of life, she was not only a full-time mother, but because my father was in the army and overseas for about half my life she was not just a mother but a father. She worked hard. Everything this passage of Scripture says about a virtuous woman, my mother was.
Mother helped me to know the love of Jesus. She often said, “There is no greater love of a mother except God’s love.”
I tell people I had a drug problem growing up, I was drug to church every time the doors were opened.
I thank God for giving me a mother who in turn gave me the opportunity to know Jesus.
“My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.”
Thank you Mother for allowing me the opportunity of knowing the hope and love of Jesus played out through your life.
