Acts 1:7–8 (NKJV)
7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the
Father has put in His own authority.
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and
you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and
to the end of the earth.”
We do not know what the next second is going to bring. What we do know is
that God is in control. Whatever God has called us to be and to do He has
already empowered us. So….
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your
paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)
Follow God. Trust God. Obey God. We have no control over what happens
around us. We have control over what we do and how we respond or react to
what is happening around us. We are empowered by God to live in the
moment. Trust God. We are to acknowledge God’s presence in and around
us. Know God knows where you are.
God knows what is happening in and around us. Trust God. Obey God.
