Jude 3 (NKJV) — 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you
concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you
exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all
delivered to the saints.
The days are growing short. “Now is the time for all good men to come to
the aid of their country” may be a misquote but it is a sure call for all
Christians to come to the calling of God. It is time for Christians to quit
looking for the nice comfort of just sitting in a worship service and then
going back to same old life lived out each week. There is a spiritual war
taking place.
John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there
My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God,
which is your reasonable service.”
1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast,
immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your
labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
It is time to put on the whole armor of God and fight for the cause of God! If
we are not willing to stand now, then we will be like many Christians living in
countries not able to worship in the open but hiding in the darkness.
