Philippians 1:19, 21(NKJV)
19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer
and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 21 For to me, to live is Christ,
and to die is gain.
Life is all about God. Whatever we go through, good or bad, is about Jesus.
It is not that God put us in the situation we are in, He did allow it. Christians
are ambassadors for Christ. We live our lives promoting and sharing Christ
to the world. Who we are in Christ is demonstrated through our words and
our actions. Paul was continually “preaching” Christ. His Christian life was
not just a Sunday go to church life.
Our faith in Christ is being tested every day. It is going to be tested beyond
what we have ever seen. How will others know our faith in Christ is real? We
stand and stand firm in Jesus Christ! There was a time when people flocked
to the church in times of crises. This is not being witnessed today. There is a
sense of laissez-faire attitude in many professing Christians lives. There is an
unwillingness to get involved, to let others do the doing and just live life as if
everything is well. There is a war going on. It is not a physical war, it is
spiritual. All true believers in Christ are involved. It is not time to sit on the
sidelines. We must be on the battlefield fighting for the cause of Christ.
You are a Christian? God has a calling for your life! The Holy Spirit of God is
living in your life. He will supply you with all you need to be actively involved
in His work, in the church! No matter what your need is nor how great your
need is the Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and deliver you.
Get involved in God’s work! The Christian’s assigned post is the church. Be
involved in the work God has called you to.
Even before Jeremiah was born God had a plan for his life. Jeremiah 1:5,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I
sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
Exodus 3:10, “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you
may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” God’s calling is
not always easy. But, as God led Moses, God will lead us even in the most
difficult, seemingly impossible calling. God calls us to do only what He can
do through us. Matthew 19:26, “But Jesus looked at them and said to them,
‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
