Daily Devotion (October 2, 2024)

Psalm 95:1–6
1 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.
5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.
6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

The “Feast of Tabernacles” was an annual event commemorating the wilderness wanderings and celebrating God’s provision for them as they journeyed to the Promise Land. (This is a short description and not filled with complete details of the Feast.)

Do we celebrate God’s deliverance from our wandering in the deserts of life when we traveled to the promise land of our lives. God has delivered us from the grasp of Satan and brought us into His (God’s) Promise Land. Each moment of the day we should be celebrating our deliverance from the pain of captivity in sin. The Christian’s life is enriched by the freedom found in God’s presence. Each day should be a celebration of our journey through life’s challenges and our deliverance from the power of evil.

Today stop and focus upon what God has delivered you from but more than that how God has provided for you. Today and everyday we should be celebrating the power of God’s love in our lives.
